The Department of Mathematics at Sree Sankara College, Kalady, successfully organized the interschool and intercollegiate mathematics fest “INSPIRIT 2K25“, on January 16th and 17th, 2025. The two-day event was a remarkable display of creativity, talent, and community spirit, and it brought together students from various schools and colleges, making it a grand success.

On January 16th, the first day of the fest, a series of events were held, aimed at engaging school students and fostering their interest in mathematics and other creative activities. The day began with an exhibition designed specifically for school students, where they had the opportunity to showcase their skills and knowledge. It was inaugurated by the respected principal Prof.(Dr.) Anil Kumar M. This was followed by a variety of fun and engaging competitions, including games, face painting, and mehndi designs. Interschool Quiz competition was also conducted. Students from different schools actively participated in the Quiz competition and showcased their talent. The cash prizes and certificates for the winners were distributed after the event. The diverse activities ensured that there was something for everyone, and the school students thoroughly enjoyed participating in them.

The second day of the fest, January 17th, brought the college community together with more exciting activities. The day’s highlight was the much-anticipated Food Fest. The Food Fest featured a wide variety of delicious dishes prepared by the students of Sree Sankara College. The event was an absolute hit, with participants savouring the homemade delicacies while enjoying the vibrant atmosphere of the college campus.

In addition to the Food Fest, various games including the treasure hunt were held, adding an element of fun and competition. The day’s main highlight, the Food Fest, was inaugurated by the esteemed Principal, Prof.(Dr.) Anil Kumar M, who praised the students’ efforts in organizing such a successful and innovative fest.

To add to the excitement, prizes were awarded to winners of various competitions, including cash prizes and certificates. This recognition further motivated the participants and made the event even more rewarding for all involved.
