The webinar titled Introduction to Elliptic Curve Cryptography was conducted by the Ciphers – Mathematics Association, in collaboration with the SMART Scheme and IQAC, at Sree Sankara College, Kalady. This insightful session aimed to provide an introduction to cryptography and elliptic curves, covering both theoretical and practical applications in daily life.

The program began with a prayer led by Amrutha A.S., setting a peaceful and focused tone for the event. This was followed by a warm welcome from Ms. Aswathi, a faculty member of the Mathematics Department, who introduced the theme and objectives of the session.

Dr. Sreejith M.M. commenced the class which started with foundational concepts in cryptography, gradually introducing elliptic curve cryptography. The applications of cryptography in daily life were also discussed in the session. The interactive nature of the session encouraged participants to engage with questions and feedback.

In the feedback segment, Lakshmi expressed appreciation for the clarity and depth of the topics covered. Anjaly P. J. then concluded the session with a heartfelt vote of thanks, acknowledging Dr. Sreejith M.M.’s expertise and the active participation of the attendees.
