Field Visit to C-SIS CUSAT

A group of teachers and First Year students of BSc (Hons.) Physics visited Centre for Science in Society (C-SIS), CUSAT on 20th Sptember 2025. The objective of the visit was to enhance students’ understanding of scientific concepts through interactive exhibits and demonstrations, and to promote scientific curiosity and awareness. The Centre for Science in Society is an initiative of Cochin University of Science and Technology aimed at promoting science awareness among students and the general public. The centre features various exhibits related to physics, mathematics, astronomy, and environmental science. Students actively participated, asked questions, and clarified their doubts. The interactive nature of the visit made learning engaging and enjoyable. The field visit successfully bridged the gap between theory and practice and inspired students to explore science more deeply.
