The Department of Mathematics, Sree Sankara College, Kalady, successfully inaugurated its Mathematics Association, on October 9, 2025 at 2 PM in the Sri Chandrasekhara Bharathi Seminar Hall. The event was graced by the presence of Dr. Navin Tomy , Assistant professor Department of Mathematics, Bharata Mata College(Autonomous), Thrikkakara, as the chief guest.

The program commenced with a solemn prayer by Amrutha A S, creating an auspicious atmosphere for the event. Sivaprasad Vijay, Association secretary, delivered the welcome address, extending a warm greeting to the dignitaries, faculty members, and students present. Principal, Prof. Dr. Anilkumar M, delivered the presidential address, emphasizing the goals and vision of the association. The inauguration of the Mathematics Association was carried out by the chief guest Dr. Navin Tomy, who provided a comprehensive and precise explanation of the matrix personalization concept. Following the inauguration, The event witnessed felicitation from Head of the Department, Smt. Essy C Cherian, who congratulated the department on this initiative and highlighted the significance of mathematics in daily life and future endeavours.

Post the formal inauguration, the program concluded with vibrant cultural performances by the students, showcasing their talent and creativity. Afsal K H, a second-year student, delivered the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all who contributed to the success of the event.
