From Campus to Care: Our Annual Gift of Hope

Support for Cancer Ward

The UG Department of Microbiology Association organised a Food Fest as part of its community-oriented initiatives. The event saw active participation from both students and teachers, who collaborated to make it a grand success.

The funds generated from the Food Fest were donated to support the Cancer Ward at the General Hospital, Ernakulam. The contribution was officially handed over on February 3, 2025, by the students and teachers of the department.

This noble initiative reflects the social commitment and humanitarian spirit of the Microbiology Association, emphasising the importance of extending support to healthcare services. The programme not only strengthened teamwork and responsibility among students but also highlighted the department’s dedication to making a meaningful impact on society.
