Hindi Pakhwada Samaroh 2025 was organized by the Department of Hindi, Sree Sankara College, Kalady, as part of the Hindi Day celebrations. The seminar was arranged to commemorate Hindi Diwas and to promote awareness about the relevance and development of the Hindi language in contemporary society. The resource person for the session was Prof. (Dr.) Sindhu T. I, Department of Hindi, St. Peter’s College, Kolenchery. She delivered an insightful lecture on the topic “हिन्दी : परंपरा से तकनीकी की ओर” (Hindi: From Tradition to Technology).
During her lecture, Dr. Sindhu T. I highlighted the evolution of Hindi from its rich literary and cultural traditions to its growing role in the fields of technology, digital communication, and artificial intelligence. She explained how Hindi has adapted to technological advancements and discussed the opportunities available for students and researchers in the digital age. The session encouraged participants to explore innovative applications of Hindi while preserving its cultural heritage.
The seminar witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members. An interactive discussion followed the lecture, where students raised questions regarding the use of Hindi in modern technological platforms and career opportunities related to language technology.
