An ISRO exhibition was organized at Sree Sankara College as part of the celebration of National Space Day on 22nd and 23rd September 2025. This extension activity aimed to inspire school as well as college students by introducing them to the fascinating world of space science and technology. The exhibition included,
- Models of launch vehicles such as PSLV and GSLV
- Satellite models and their applications (communication, weather forecasting, remote sensing)
- Display panels on landmark missions like Chandrayaan-3 and Mangalyaan
- Information on space exploration technologies and rocket propulsion
- Interactive sessions explaining basic principles of rocketry and space travel
A large number of school students from nearby institutions visited the exhibition. Faculty members and college students guided the visitors, explaining the exhibits in an interactive and engaging manner. Students showed great enthusiasm and actively participated by asking questions and sharing their ideas. The exhibition successfully reached out to the student community and served as an effective platform for science communication. It strengthened the connection between higher education institutions and school students through knowledge sharing.
