The Department of Microbiology, Sree Sankara College, Kalady, in association with Enlearn Academy organized an orientation programme titled “Navigating Your Future: Central University Admission” on 21st August 2024.. The event was specifically aim to provide guidance and direction to life science students interested in pursuing higher education at central universities.
The programme began with an introductory session, setting the stage for a comprehensive exploration of the admission process, scholarship opportunities, and career pathways in the field of life sciences.
Inaugural Session:
The programme commenced with a warm welcome to the dignitaries, students, and faculty members by Ms. Anjali Nair, Final year microbiology Student. Prof. (Dr.) Anilkumar M, the Principal of Sree Sankara College, Kalady, delivered the Presidential Address, offering valuable insights into the importance of such programmes for students’ academic and professional growth. He emphasized the significance of higher education and the ALI wealth of opportunities available at central universities across the country. His encouraging words motivated the students to take full advantage of the knowledge shared during the sessions.
Technical Session I:
The first technical session was led by Mr. Sahal A.P, Founder & Director of Enlearn Academy, Calicut. His presentation focused on the admission process for central universities and the various entrance exams required to secure admission to prominent life science programs. Mr. Sahal A.P provided detailed information on exam patterns, preparation strategies, and the importance of selecting the right university and course based on individual goals. His interactive approach and practical tips on acing competitive exams resonated well with the students.
Technical Session II:
The second technical session was presented by Mr. Vishnu Prasad, an expert in the field of education. His session delved into career prospects in the life sciences, discussing the potential paths students can pursue after completing their degrees.
