The Department of Biochemistry of Sree Sankara College organized a special event titled “Solace Campus Connect” on Monday, 17th February at 10.00 am in the college auditorium, in collaboration with Solace Global, a Kerala-based charity organization dedicated to supporting children with long-term illnesses and their families. The chief guest of the event was Ms. Sheeba Ameer, the founder of Solace.
In her inspiring address, she highlighted the importance of compassion, gratitude, and social responsibility among young people. She shared the journey of Solace and its impactful initiatives, emphasizing how even small acts of kindness can bring significant change in society. Her words deeply resonated with the audience, encouraging students to appreciate life’s blessings and contribute meaningfully to the community. Students from all departments actively participated in the event, making it a successful and unifying programme. The session served as a platform to promote empathy, gratitude, and collective effort in social service, and inspired many to take a more active role in humanitarian activities.
