The students and teachers of the Department of Physics visited the Quantum Century Exhibition organized at Cochin University of Science and Technology, on 14 November 2025. The visit was highly informative and inspiring, providing deep insights into the fascinating world of quantum science and its technological applications. The exhibition was conducted as part of efforts to promote awareness of Quantum Physics and to commemorate a century of groundbreaking developments in this field. Various exhibits demonstrated fundamental concepts of Quantum Mechanics and the pioneering scientists behind it.
Students had the chance to interact with working models, digital simulations, and experimental setups that illustrated complex quantum phenomena in a simplified manner. One of the major attractions was the demonstration of Superconductivity and Meissner effecr which captured the curiosity of both students and teachers.
Experts and researchers present at the venue explained the practical applications of quantum mechanics and the visit helped bridge the gap between theoretical learning and practical understanding. Overall, the visit to the Quantum Century Exhibition at CUSAT was a memorable and enriching experience.
