NCC
The National Cadet Corps (NCC) is one of the largest youth organizations in India that aims to develop discipline, leadership, and patriotism among students. In colleges, NCC functions under the Senior Division (SD) for boys and Senior Wing (SW) for girls, providing students with opportunities for training and personality development.
The main motto of NCC is “Unity and Discipline.” Through regular training, parades, camps, and social service activities, NCC cadets learn the values of teamwork, dedication, and national service.
College NCC units organize various activities such as drill practice, weapon training, adventure camps, and community service programs. These activities help cadets develop confidence, responsibility, and leadership skills.
Thus, NCC in colleges plays an important role in shaping students into disciplined and responsible citizens who are ready to serve the nation.
History of NCC

Since then, NCC has grown into one of the largest uniformed youth organizations in the world, with lakhs of cadets from schools and colleges across India.
