About

Women’s cell of Sree Sankara College, Kalady known as “SAKHI”, stands for the overall empowerment of girl students of the college.

Objective

  • To empower girl students on all walks of life, by providing them training on life skill, employability skill, self-defence, financial self- sustainability and social commitment.
  • To invoke gender sensitization among students of all genders

Functions

  • Conducts training classes on life skill, employability skill, administrative skill, self-defence and financial self- sustainability
  • Organise sessions of health and hygeine
  • Organises interactive sessions with women leaders and empowered ladies
  • Performance sessions to stage the talents
  • Inculcating social responsibility and social commitment by indulging in charity works
